AYS Transport & Logistics BV has direct connectivity to a network of pipelines enabling liquid products to be sustainably moved around the North West industrial region and the wider Rotterdam. Direct links to the Port of Rotterdam Oil Pipeline enable large volumes of fuel to be pumped south to the Fuel Terminals. A large proportion of the Airports Aviation Fuel is also fulfilled from AYS Transport & Logistics BV via the Rotterdam Jet Pipeline. Both of these major pipeline routes take a substantial volume of tankers off the road network and provide an efficient, sustainable transportation method. In addition to these two major pipelines there is a network of smaller pipelines that connect multiple industrial sites around the North West to the Stanlow site.
Our two locations offer state of the art facilities when it comes to your berth and jetty requirements. The Tranmere terminal is situated on the west side of the River Mersey, whilst AYS Transport & Logistics BV terminals is located 4 miles from the entrance to the Ship Canal.
AYS Transport & Logistics BV has launched a new ship-to-ship (STS) fuel transfer service on the River Mersey in partnership with Peel Ports Group (PPG).
AYS Transport & Logistics BV Transfers enable larger ships to transport products directly from Tranmere to a wide range of international destinations.
The new service significantly saves time and lowers costs, allowing for the import and export of much larger cargos than previously possible.
We have 200+ bulk liquid tanks, ranging from 150m3 to 100,000m3 to store everything from LPG to Crude, Bio Fuel, Bitumen and more.
Thanks to excellent road, rail and water links along with connection to the UK Oil Pipeline (UKOP) and Manchester Jet Pipeline.
With a draft of up to 14.3 metres, the Tranmere site can be utilised to receive larger vessels carrying up to 170,000 tonnes of crude oil.
